Lord Rama’s birth on Navami of Chaitra month Shukla Paksha is celebrated as Sri Rama Navami.

Lord Rama is believed to be incarnated in the earth during the Treta Yuga, before 12,96,000 years.

The Treta Yuga was flourished with 3 different incarnations of Lord Vishnu – Vamana, Parashurama and Rama.

In some parts of India like Andra Pradesh, the devotees celebrate Sri Ram Navami as the SitaRam wedding festival.

Lord Rama ruled Ayodhya for 1000+ years and those years are called the Golden Years. Mahatma Gandhi dreamed that India should have a Ramarajyam in the free India.
